Mobile Elevated Work Platform Training (MEWP)

Mobile Elevated Work Platforms have changed the way construction projects are conducted. These are important mechanical devices that are used to allow fast and convenient access to areas inaccessible via conventional means. Being used at various construction sites, they also require highly-trained individuals to operate them safely. Having an unqualified individual operating the platform may present a huge risk to the operator and those within the vicinity.

At ISO Group, we understand the importance of having proper Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) training. A common misconception about training is that once is enough. In reality, having refresher training every year or so makes sure that the operators remain sharp and hone their skills all the time. Skills that might otherwise, slowly fade with time.

Our Behavior-Based Mobile Elevated Work Platform Safety Operations Training is a programme designed to focus on safe and unsafe behaviours of staff at the workplace. Accredited by the American Petroleum Institute, this is an international approach that is adopted by us here at The ISO Group. Aiming to provide a comprehensive training syllabus, the programme helps to identify, influence and change any unsafe behaviours at the workplace. Conversely, it will also reinforce safe behaviours that have already been established.

Our MEWP training approach is designed to be different than others. While others may focus on only Safety Compliance Rules and the Do’s and Don’ts, we want to instil and reinforce safety behaviour through practical means. Our person-focused approach teaches four critical skills of Acting, Coaching, Thinking and Seeing. These skills will allow workers to be more responsible for the safety of themselves and their co-workers.

At The ISO Group, operational safety is always our first priority. Through our Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) training, we want to make sure that each operator is able to go home safely after work every day.
